There has never been a better time to go to law school...
Especially if it’s The Mini Law School for the Public, conducted by The Missouri Bar and St. Louis University.
The more you know about the laws that affect you, the easier it is to make good decisions about your life, your finances, your family. The Missouri Bar, the statewide organization of more than 30,000 lawyers, and St. Louis University are conducting this fall in St. Louis, the Mini Law School for the Public. There’s no need to worry about taking tests to get into this law school, and you can forget about hefty tuition. The only requirement to attend this six-session series of lectures is a curious mind and a desire to become better informed. There’s no homework, no tests – just some of the most fascinating lectures you’ll ever hear from some of Missouri’s most experienced and knowledgeable lawyers and judges.
And the cost? Tuition is just $25 for the entire sixn-week course, and that includes the printed course materials you receive.
Mini Law School for the Public
- What it is: A series of six exceptionally interesting sessions that will provide practical information about the laws that affect us all.
- Why attend: Our legal system and laws are designed as a framework to help us live in an increasingly complex world. Unless you understand the legal framework that our society is built on, you can’t receive the full benefit of the law.
- Is it really like law school? Yes, and No. The lectures have been prepared especially for adults who are not lawyers. You’ll be learning from some of the best legal minds in the state. But you won’t be tested, and of course, you won’t really become a lawyer by attending. (You’ll just learn how to think like one.)
- Who will be teaching this school? The course will be taught by practicing attorneys, law professors and judges who have distinguished themselves in their careers. Each presenter is also an excellent communicator who can reveal the drama behind legal issues and their practical application in our lives.
- Where will the classes be held? All lectures will take place at the St. Louis University School for Law (Morrissey Hall) in Room 303, 3700 Lindell Blvd.
Enrollment is limited. Register now to reserve a space. If you would like more information please contact the Missouri Bar at 1-866-366-0270 ext 101.
